Antonio Boriello 2023

New headshots to go with some professional updates. Back in Nov 2022 Antonio graduated with an MSc in Management & Leadership from Leeds Beckett University, with Distinction and Dean's price for most outstanding student of the 2021/22 cohort.
It was thought-provoking, eye-opening, informative, challenging, and inspiring, and ultimately equipped him with more and better tools and competencies to continue doing his very best for the performing arts sector, and in his work with young people. In April 2023 he transitioned to a new role at Phoenix Dance Theatre. Antonio now is Phoenix's Professional Training Manager. While still overseeing the Youth Academy program (which continues to grow and to bring him so much joy ), Antonio will also support the wider team by facilitating postgraduate professional placement programs, short-term placements, junior dancers recruitment, the establishment of a Youth People's Advisory Board, and devising and managing activity to bridge the gap between dance training and profession. He also continue to work with the ISTD as part of the Contemporary Dance Syllabus R&D and teaching team York Dance Scholars as Head of Faculty and resident contemporary tutor and Renaissance Arts as resident contemporary lecture.
