Lucia is Italian and was born in Montevideo (Uruguay). She received her training in Arezzo (Italy) and at the Brenda Hamlyn Ballet School in Florence. In 1998, Lucia received the Premio Danza & Danza (Porselli Award) as the best young Italian dancer.
With a scholarship from the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation, Lucia completed her training as a dancer at the John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet School. Lucia got her first position at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf), where she danced the role of Sylvia in the ballet of the same name by John Neumeier and Soli in the ballets Schumann’s Symphony No. 2 by Uwe Scholz, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker by Yuri Vàmos. Since the 2005/2006 season, Lucia is dancing at the John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet where Lucia danced the solo "Smaragds" in "Jewels" by George Balanchine and "Verklungene Feste" by John Neumeier. 2009 Lucia was appointed soloist of the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier. In July 2013 Lucia joins the Northern Ballet, GB, and is promoted to a First Soloist in June 2014.

In the Sapphire Gala of the Northern Ballet 2015 Lucia dances in Fatal Kiss, choreographed for Lucia and Javier Torres by Daniel de Andrade and the Grand Pas de Deux of Nutcracker with Alexandr Trusch, Principal of the Hamburg Ballet, by John Neumeier.
At the Northern Ballet Lucia dances there roles like Titania / Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream (David Nixon), Ghost of Christmas Past, Belle and Nephew's Wife in A Christmas Carol (Massimo Moricone), Cinderella and Prince in Cinderella's Girl (David Nixon) as well as in Mixed Programs in Hans van Manen's Concertante as well as one of the two solo women in Lar Lubovitch's Concerto Six Twenty-Two.
