In 1999 Carrie Ann visits at the age of 13 years for the first time the summer course at the National Ballet School in Toronto.
In January 2002, Carrie Ann takes part at the international competition Prix de Lausanne and is honored with the award Meilleure Suisse.
On invitation of the artistic director Mavis Staines takes place a participation at the Summer School of the National Ballet School in Toronto.
In September Carrie Ann is accepted at the Royal Ballet School in London where she continues her ballet training until she is ready for stage with the support of the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation.
2004 Carrie Ann starts her first engagement as a ballet dancer at the prestigious Dresden State Opera, the Semper Opera, where she works until 2006.
